Cashless events are seen as the Holy Grail for event organisers.
There is a lot of cost involved in controlling your cash receipts; the cost of guarding & transporting your money. Additionally, how much money is lost through shrinkage and "Mates Rates".
Often with many one off events Bar Staff are brought in only for the duration of the event, given an inservice of your system & then tossed behind the bar to serve drinks & manage your cash.

The Bar Wizid is a step in the right direction to give you control at the bar. In a nutshell, we assign each of the various drinks a specially encrypted barcode. Patrons / Vips have identification which also contains a specifically encrypted barcode.
That barcode may be imprinted on a wristband, card, credential or ticket, depending on your event requirement. The patrons barcode is assigned a set value, which may be in dollars or a set number of drinks.
How it works:
- The patron goes to the bar & orders a drink.
- The drink barcode is scanned.
- Then the patrons wristband is scanned.
- Wait for a green light then serve the drink. Red light service is denied.
Service is faster for the patron with reduced queueing time. Money doesn't change hands, thereby eliminating "shrinkage" and Mates Rates. You have full accountability in real time with data captured for your later reports. The value of drinks served is available instantly
