E-Tickets

Wizid is pleased to offer our customers our new print @ home event tickets - e-tickets.

E-tickets, eliminate cost to you & are convenient for your customers. They print their own tickets to your event. Each e-ticket has a specially encrypted barcode created by us, designed to be read & verified by the Wizid Guidepost system.

Wizid does not retain any patron information, that is held only by you. We simply match barcodes specific to your event. Currently we send the encrypted barcodes to you by disk & then those barcodes are dropped into the e-ticket format selected by you.

In the near future, we will be offering a login portal, where the e-ticket format & specially encrypted barcodes can be directly downloaded from our website & the need for disks eliminated.

Further advances will be offered by Wizid in 2009, with on the spot mobile e-ticketing expected no later than midyear.

What is a print@home e-ticket?

Print@home e-ticket is an electronic pdf file that you mail to your customer. It includes all your event details with a specially encrypted barcode. The file becomes an event ticket once your customer prints it at their home or work. It is exactly like an airline electronic ticket.

What is the benefit of using a print@home e-ticket?

For a start, it eliminates all your tickets handling costs . I.e. you don't need to manually send your customer their ticket by post, replace it when they tell you it hasn't arrived and go through the whole process again when they ask for another ticket.

From your customer's point of view, they get an A4 size-ticket with all the information they need to know about your event. In addition, they can't lose the-ticket as it is always in their Inbox.

How secure is the e-ticket.

The e-ticket is protected by a specially encrypted barcode, which only allows one entry per ticket. If your customer is foolish enough to print the-ticket twice and give it to someone else then they will be the one left outside of the venue.

What do I need at the venue to validate the e-ticket?

The only equipment you need is the Wizid GuidePost. By scanning the barcode, the GuidePost will validate and record the e-ticket details at the venue. If you still require to identify the customer inside the venue, we suggest you issue wristbands which may have their own encrypted barcode.

What kinds of e-tickets are available?

Wizid will work with you to create the kind of e-ticket you may require . Below are couple of examples whereby the e-ticket is a fold-in-six Card size, fold-in-three DL size and an A4 RSVP invite.

To make it easy for your customer to print the e-ticket, we create the .pdf in A4 size but with clever folding we can get to any size.
